NTUCB and CWU Announce Winners of National Fundraising Raffle

The National Trade Union Congress of Belize (NTUCB) and the Christian Workers Union (CWU) today celebrated the successful conclusion of its national raffle with the drawing of two major prizes. The grand prize, a residential lot located in Succotz Village, Cayo District, was won by Angel Bernardo Avilez of St. Matthew’s Village. The second prize, a mini vacation package, went to Michael Rose of Belize City. The raffle formed part of the NTUCB’s fundraising efforts, with proceeds helping to support the organisation’s ongoing advocacy for fair labour practices, workers’ rights and social dialogue throughout Belize. President of NTUCB, Ella Waight and President of the CWU Leonora Flowers thanked everyone who purchased tickets, noting that the response demonstrated continued public support for the work of the country’s umbrella trade union.
