National champion and record holder Ackera Nugent had to settle for second in her first Wanda Diamond League meet of the season in Stockholm.
Nugent clocked 12.37 seconds as the American Grace Stark won the 100mH in a meet record of 12.37 seconds.
Olympic champion Roje Stona was sixth in what was also his Diamond League opener. He logged 64.68 metres in the men’s discus.
The third Jamaican in action at the meet Ackelia Smith finished ninth in the long jump with a leap of 6.55 metres. Olympic champion Tara Davis Woodhall won the event.
The meet was highlighted by a world record in the men’s pole vault. Local favourite and twice Olympic champion, Armand Duplantis, scaled 6.28 metres for his 12th world record in the event.
