National 100 metres hurdles champion and record holder, Ackera Nugent, is set to open her season against a strong field at the Millrose Games in New York on February 8.
Nugent is coming off a strong 2024 campaign where she became Diamond League champion, contested the Paris OIympic final and twice broke the national record.
She’ll be joined in the race by World Indoor record holder Devynne Charlton of The Bahamas and rising American star Tia Jones.
Meanwhile, Olympic medallists Jess Hull and Georgia Bell will also clash at the Millrose Games.
They first race over 3,000 metres at the New Balance Indoor in Boston on February 2 and then the mile at the Millrose Games.
