Oklahoma City Thunder are into the NBA Finals for the first time in 12 years after crushing Minnesota Timberwolves in game five of their Western Conference finals.
Season MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander came up big again with 34 points as OKC stormed to a 124-94 victory at the Paycom Arena on Wednesday night to take the best of seven series 4-1.
Chet Holmgren added 22 points and Jalen Williams scored 19. OKC will have home court advantage for the finals starting June 5.
Their opponents in the finals could be known on Thursday night when Indiana Pacers take a 3-1 lead into game five of the Eastern Conference finals against New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
