One man -Dyke has hand in half of World U20 sprint relay successes

When Jamaica’s women crossed the finish line to win the 4x100-metre relay at the World Under-20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on Sunday, they not only secured another gold medal but also extended one of the most remarkable winning streaks in the history of the championships. The victory was Jamaica’s fourth consecutive title in the event, continuing a golden run that began in Nairobi in 2021, followed by victories in Cali in 2022, Lima in 2024 and now Eugene in 2026. And through all four triumphs, one Jamaican coach has been a constant presence: Michael Dyke.
