Organizer of the Jamaica International Cycling Classic, Carlton Simmons, says day-1 of the 3-day events was a success.
The 4th staging of the event started in Montego Bay today.
Simmonds is expecting two more days of high class riding.
He says there has been a significant increase in the number of participants.
