Rebel Salute organizers are refusing to comment following Queen Ifrica’s sudden announcement that she will not be performing at the festival’s debut in South Florida on Sunday, September 28.
On Thursday, the Reggae singer issued a public statement via Instagram saying the terms of her agreement were not met. She expressed regret over the cancellation, noting that she had looked forward to the performance but emphasized that artists must be treated with professionalism and respect.

The cancellation is significant as it comes just ahead of Rebel Salute’s historic first staging outside Jamaica, a major milestone for the long-running festival that has championed the preservation of Reggae music.
