A Paramin teenager was beaten and robbed of his car on Wednesday night, after allegedly refusing to drop a man he knew at a particular location.
Police said the 19-year-old cashier was reportedly sitting in his white Nissan Almera around 9.30 pm, near the Paramin Recreational Ground, when he was approached by the suspect.
Police said the suspect, whom the teen knew from the village, asked to be taken to La Belle Vue, Paramin.
The victim claimed that when he refused, the suspect pulled out the key from the ignition and then proceeded to drag him out of the car.The suspect then began kicking and cuffing the teen about the body.
The teen was then dragged to a nearby fence and propped up against it, and then beaten with a piece of wood about the head and body, causing him to pass out.
When he regained consciousness, he noticed the car was gone.
