World champion, Danielle Williams, and Tokyo Olympic gold medallist, Hansle Parchment, are among nine Jamaicans down to compete at the second stop on the Wanda Diamond League circuit In Shanghai, China, on Saturday.
Williams will run in the women’s 100-metres hurdles.
She should get some challenge from world record holder Tobi Amusan of Nigeria, Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas and the USA’s Nia Ali.
Meanwhile, Parchment will contest the 110-metres hurdles. He’ll be joined by countrymen Rasheed Broadbell and Orlando Bennett.
Paris Olympics silver medallist Kishane Thompson and Rohan Watson will lineup in the men’s 100-metres.
The women’s 800-metres will feature Natoya Goule-Toppin, Danniel Thomas-Dodd will line up in the women’s shot put and Jordan Scott will be Jamaica’s standard bearer in the men’s triple jump.
