Organiser of the recent Jamaica International Cycling Classic, Carlton Simmons, says they received great reviews from the riders and their support staff.
Sergio Henao Montoya of Nu Colombia cycling team won the fourth staging of the classic. Montoya won with an overall time of 7:30:38 over the three days.
American John Borstelmann was second in 7:30:46, with Canada’s Gregory Cordoba third in 7:30:58.
Thirteen teams comprising riders from over 20 countries participated in the three day event.
Simmons says the participants gave the Classic equal marks with international competitions.
