Pedestrian killed in eastbound CRH accident

A Carapo man died after being hit while crossing the Churchill Roosevelt Highway near Aranguez earlier today.

Police said Negus Clauzel, of Circular Road, Peyton Ville, was attempting to cross the eastbound lane when he was struck by a vehicle.

A district medical officer viewed the body and pronounced Clauzel dead at the scene.
