Perrin Gayle returns to head Scotia subsidiary

Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) has named Perrin Gayle, a former Scotiabank executive who left for rival National Commercial Bank Jamaica (NCB) in January 2025, managing director of Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited, the group’s banking subsidiary, effective November 9, according to a statement. Gayle left NCB on October 26, after almost two years as executive vice-president of retail banking and chief executive of the NCB Foundation. NCB said he decided to pursue another interest.
