Play in Women’s Rising Stars Competition Delayed by Rain

The start of the West Indies Rising Stars Under 19 women’s 30 overs cricket tournament has been severely interrupted by rain, in Trinidad and Tobago.

The start of the match between Jamaica and Guyana has been delayed due to rain at the Diego Martin Sports Complex, in Trinidad and Tobago.

Jamaica won the toss and will bat first.

Meanwhile, the Leeward Islands reached 66 without loss after 15 overs in their match against Trinidad and Tobago at Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Ground at St. Augustine.

Salnavi Kambalapalti 20 and Kayzg Boyles 20 are the not out batters.

And the match between Windward Islands and Barbados was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain at the National Cricket Centre in Couva.
