PM: Achievements in Gov’t Should Secure 3rd Term

Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says his administration’s list of achievements is such that in any other country, it would be enough to secure a third term without campaigning.

He was speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party constituency conference in West Central St. James on Sunday.

Dr. Holness highlighted the significant reduction in crime as a major milestone since his government took office in 2016.

He also highlighted the historic reduction in poverty and the macro economic gains being used to improve the country’s water and road infrastructure.

But, Dr. Holness says his government is in a constant battle to remind voters of what has been accomplished.
