PM: Voters Should be Motivated by Party’s Ability to Address Challenges

Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness is urging Jamaicans to vote based on a party’s ability to address the problems facing the country.

Dr Holness says this, rather than personal levels of discontent, should motivate the decision on election day.

The prime minister was speaking on the weekend at a fundraising dinner for Central St. James member of parliament, Heroy Clarke.

The JLP leader also encouraged voters to be wary of impractical election promises.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Holness has urged constituents to go out and vote for the administration they see that is better equipped to deliver on promises made.

He also announced plans to build a small urban centre in the Hopewell area.
