PNP Caretaker Criticised For ‘War’ Remark in St. Elizabeth

Member of the JLP’s Communication Task Force, Senator Marlon Morgan, has condemned PNP caretaker for South West St Elizabeth, Dr. Miranda Wellington, for recent comments seemingly encouraging war from the political platform.

The PNP caretaker made the remarks while speaking to party faithful at the Frome divisional conference in Westmoreland on Sunday.

She also used the platform to criticise her opponent Floyd Green, describing him as “fenke-fenke”.

The JLP’s Morgan is condemning the remarks, describing them as intemperate and vile.

According to Senator Morgan, the PNP caretaker must apologise to the country.

Senator Morgan also called on Opposition Leader, Mark Golding, to rein in his candidates on the campaign trail.
