Opposition Spokesman on Finance, Julian Robinson, has vowed that a PNP government will waste no time in tackling the issues arising from the compensation review to ensure a fair deal for public sector workers.
Robinson was speaking a PNP meeting in Cross Roads, St Andrew over the weekend.
It follows a breakdown in wage talks between the Jamaica Teachers Association, JTA and the Finance Ministry on Friday.
Robinson says the PNP will ease the pressure being faced by some public sector workers by removing taxes from overtime pay.
