PNP President, Mark Golding, is rubbishing claims his party would discontinue existing government programmes and policies should it form the next government.
He’s labelled the perception as nonsense.
Mr. Golding was speaking at the launch of the PNP’s ‘Manifesto Lite’ on Monday.
The PNP has criticised several programmes put forward by the governing JLP.
The latest is the rural school bus programme, which is set to be rolled out next month.
Damion Crawford has vowed that the PNP will discontinue the programme should it form government on September 3.
But Mr. Golding argues that some existing programmes may be deferred in order to implement other solutions to better serve the country.
