PNP candidate for Eastern Hanover, Andrea Purkiss is urging comrades to reject attempts by the JLP to buy their votes.
She was speaking in Chester Castle, Hanover on Thursday night.
Eastern Hanover was previously held by the PNP, with Dr. DK Duncan at the helm of the constituency from 2007.
The JLP took the seat in 2016 when Dave Hume Brown defeated Wynter McIntosh, who succeeded Duncan on his retirement from representational politics.
Purkiss said she deserves the vote because she is from the constituency and can relate to the people’s experiences.
Meanwhile, Purkiss says a PNP government will pay civil servants for overtime work.
