Opposition spokesman on industry, investment and global logistics, Anthony Hylton, has criticised the government’s 2025/2026 budget, dismissing it as backward looking.
Hylton was making his contribution to the Sectoral Debate in the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
According to Hylton, these missed chances are a clear indication of failed leadership.
He says Jamaica is underperforming and is calling for innovative and strategic planning to address economic challenges.
Meanwhile, Hylton says the next People’s National Party government will breathe new life into the push to make Jamaica into a key player in the global logistics hub.
