People’s National Party, PNP, caretaker for South West St. Ann, Danishka Williams, has slammed incumbent Member of Parliament, MP, Zavia Mayne, accusing him of years of underperformance in the constituency.
She was speaking on Nationwide at Five on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old Williams is a marketing and communications specialist.
She’s a former deputy general secretary and vice-president of the PNP Youth Organisation and currently serves as vice-president of the PNP Patriots.
She’s also the daughter of prominent PNP activist, Danhai Williams.
Responding to Mayne’s comment likening her to a “bamboo fire” that will burn out quickly, Williams says her presence in the constituency has forced the MP to move to raise his own visibility.
