People’s National Party, PNP, caretaker for North East Manchester, Valenton Wint, is condemning recent remarks by Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, standard-bearer Senator Audrey Marks, who pledged to distribute 50 water tanks to party workers.
Senator Marks made the announcement at a worker’s meeting on the weekend.

Mr. Wint says her pronouncement smacks of partisanship.
Meanwhile, Senator Marks did not say whether the project would be state-funded or financed with personal resources. Several calls to her cell phone on Tuesday went unanswered.
Mr Wint says he hopes public funds will not be involved.
