PNP Says it Will Equip Indoor Agents with “Integrity Lamps” to Verify Voter IDs

PNP General Secretary, Dr Dayton Campbell says the party will ensure that all indoor agents are equipped with integrity lamps on election day to assess voter IDs.

The general election is set for Wednesday, September 3.

Speaking at the PNP’s Central Jamaica mass meeting in Mandeville town centre on Sunday, Dr. Campbell urged party workers to be on the lookout for persons who will seek to impersonate voters.

Over 7,000 polling stations will open to accommodate voters casting their ballots next Wednesday.

The Electoral Commission of Jamaica, ECJ, says the increase in the number of stations aligns with the rise in the number of eligible voters.
