Police Brief Media on Weekend Murder in Dangriga

This morning police held its weekly press conference at Raccoon Street Police Station in the city to update the media on the incidents which took place across the country. Last week over the long weekend on Sunday, October 12 police discovered the dead body of Shawn Hertular, 42, in Dangriga. Assistant Superintendent Stacy Smith tell us more.

Assistant Superintendent of Police, Stacy Smith: “This male person, whose name was learnt to be Sean Hurtular, 42 years of age,  was escorted to the San Ignacio Hospital for treatment.  However, some hours later, he succumbed to the injuries that he sustained.  A post-mortem examination has since been conducted on the body of Hertular, which revealed that he died from a gunshot wound.  The investigators have identified a person of interest who has been sought in connection with this ongoing homicide investigation.”
