Police Constable Walks Free After Estranged Partner Drops Charges

Police Constable Chrispin Cristopher Tesecum is a free man after being spared of three charges from his estranged common law wife. Yesterday around 1:30PM he was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrates Court where he was slapped with three charges: damage to property, aggravated assault with a dangerous instrument, and wounding upon his estranged common law wife.

The allegations made against Tesecum are that on Saturday September 27th, 2025, he unlawfully committed an aggravated assault with a knife upon his estranged common law wife. He was also accused of causing her a wound during a domestic dispute, along with causing damage to property for allegedly damaging her $200.00 ZTC touchscreen cellphone.

The police officer pleaded not guilty, and shortly after his estranged common law wife had a change of heart and decided to drop all charges. If not for her decision to forgive, Tesecum would have been placed under interdiction, leaving him with half his pay and his career as a police officer in limbo.
