Police Minister Issues Warning to Criminal Elements in Belmopan

Police Minister and Belmopan’s Area Representative has issued a stern warning to the criminal elements to stay away from his constituency.  Belmopan has long been a peaceful community with very little crimes and a sense of safety and security for many.  Following last week’s brazen murder of 55-year-old, Mark Gabourel, Minister Mira remarked that he will not allow Belmopan to become crime ridden.

As it relates to crime monitors, there are an estimated 30 cameras in Belmopan and its outskirts.
