Police Probe Deaths of Young Couple Found Inside Santa Elena Home

Police are investigating the deaths of a young couple whose bodies were discovered inside their home in Santa Elena Town, Cayo District, this morning.  The badly decomposed bodies of Michael Williams and Delisha Clarke will reportedly be buried immediately upon removal. The couple was found on a bed inside a pink bungalow near the basketball court in the Hillview area. There were reportedly no visible signs of injury on either body.  A police source says relatives reported that the couple had frequent domestic disputes. Investigators have therefore not ruled out the possibility of a murder-suicide; however, no official determination has been made.  A note was reportedly found inside the residence, but police have not disclosed its contents. Post-mortem examinations are expected to establish the cause of each death as the investigation continues.  Neighbours have also expressed concern about the whereabouts of the couple’s two children. Police have not yet provided an official report on the matter nor the location of the children.
