The Office of the Political Ombudsman is also calling on political leaders to set a tone of unity, tolerance, and restraint, as the country inches closer to the general election.
In a statement on Wednesday, Chairman of the ECJ, Earl Jarrett, denounced the removal and the defacing of political flyers.
He says the actions undermine democracy and peaceful political engagement.
The ECJ now exercises the powers of the Political Ombudsman.
The Political Ombudsman is reminding political parties and their supporters that each Jamaican has the right to participate in the political process without fear or intimidation.
It says it will continue to monitor campaign activity.
There have been several reports of vandalism of campaign material over the last few weeks.
Inflammatory references to war and the use of expletives from political platforms have also received widespread condemnation.
The Political Ombudsman is reminding members of the public they can submit any complaints or reports of breaches to the Office’s email address ecjombudsman@eoj.com.jm.
