Poll Finding May Suggest PNP Message Resonating With Public — Commentator

Public commentator, Germaine Barrett, believes the 42 per cent poll finding that says Jamaica is heading in the wrong direction under the Holness administration might be a manifestation of strong messaging from the PNP.

He was reacting to the latest Nationwide/Bluedot polls, powered by Total Tools, which also says 32 per cent of voters believe the country is headed in the right direction. Twenty-six per cent were not sure.

Barrett says there’s a need for stronger amplification of the government’s message.

Meanwhile, veteran Journalist and former Deputy Speaker of the House, Lloyd B Smith, says the poll findings reflect a disconnect between the government and the population about the progress being made in the country.
