Pooran appointed TKR captain

Nicholas Pooran has been appointed captain of the Trinbago Knight Riders for the upcoming CPL season.

The franchise confirmed the decision today, saying the wicket-keeper batsman will take over leadership duties as the team looks to reclaim the CPL title. Pooran, who has played for TKR since 2023, brings international experience from representing the West Indies in all formats, as well as previous captaincy stints at both franchise and national level.
