Portmore too good for Treasure Beach

Defending Jamaica Premier League (JPL) champions Portmore United picked up their second win of the season after they blanked Treasure Beach 2-0 yesterday at Ferdi Neita Park. Portmore scored twice in the second half to secure all three points, with Demario Dailey opening the scoring in the 48th minute before Stevaughn Spence confirmed the win with a strike in the 70th. The win also meant that Portmore returned to winning ways as the reigning champions were on a run of four consecutive draws.
