Former champions Portmore United and Waterhouse moved up a place in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League on Wednesday.

Portmore with a double strike from Jermie Lynch and one from Romeo Guthrie defeated Chapelton Maroons 3-nil to move into fourth spot on 33 points, the same as Waterhouse who beat Harbour View 1-nil on an Andre Fletcher penalty.

The defeat keeps Harbour View firmly rooted to the foot of the table and extends their winless streak.

In the day’s other game Dunbeholden and Vere United played out a 1-all draw.

Michael Graham gave Vere the lead on seven minutes but that was cancelled out by Dean Andre Thomas 14 minutes later.
