Jamaican Alex Powell battled a lack of race pace at the Mugello Circuit, the fourth round of the Italian F4 Championship season, finishing 5th, 6th and 8th in the three races, on the weekend.
After Race 1, Powell said “It was a bit of a difficult race,”
Despite the challenges faced, Powell recorded two wins and a second place finish in the Rookie class, and leads the overall Rookie Championship standings.
Powell’s next race is Round 5 of the championship at the Paul Ricard circuit in France, from July 20-21.
