National champion Nickisha Pryce won says she’s targeting Olympic gold in the highly competitive women’s 400 metre finals in Paris.
Pryce advanced to the semi-finals of the competition after winning heat-2 in 50.02 seconds. Pryce is also the NCAA champion and national record holder.
She says she would love to add the Olympic title to her list of achievements.

Stacey Ann Williams and Junelle Bromfield have also advanced to the 400 metre semi-final.
Meanwhile, discus thrower Travis Smikle, says a change in his training routine contributed to his consistency.

Roje Stona and Ralford Mullings also advanced to the final of the men’s discus. Smikle’s best throw was 65.91 metres, Stona 65.31 metres and Mullings 65.18 metres.
