Public Officers March Through Belmopan for Public Service Day Celebration

Belmopan was filled with energy and color today as public officers from across the country came together for the annual Public Service Day march. Employees representing various government ministries and departments took to the streets of the capital, proudly displaying banners and marching alongside colleagues as part of the national observance. The event served as a celebration of the hard work and dedication of public officers who provide essential services to Belizeans every day. From health and education to security and public administration, participants used the occasion to showcase the many ways the public service contributes to the country’s growth and development.  Our Belmopan Correspondent LJay Wade filed the following report.

Today’s march is one of several activities being held in observance of Public Service Day. The annual celebration recognizes the contribution of public officers and their commitment to serving the nation. As the festivities continue, public servants are being recognized not only for the work they do behind the scenes, but also for the impact their service has on the daily lives of Belizeans across the country
