Punta Gorda Celebrates Our Lord of Esquipulas With Religious Observances

Today in the town of Punta Gorda religious celebrations took place at St Peter Clever Parish Nuestro Senor de Esquipulas.  Our Lord of Esquipulas refers to a venerated Black Christ image, originally from Esquipulas, Guatemala, that became a significant Catholic pilgrimage icon, known for miraculous healing and inspiring devotion across Central America. We join Senior Correspondent Paul Mahung for the story.
