Punta Gorda’s Joe Taylor Bridge Nears Completion With Safer, Wider Design

Infrastructure upgrades on the Joe Taylor Bridge in Punta Gorda Town are near completion. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing began the project to upgrade the bridge from one to two lanes last year to include a footpath for pedestrians. It was a much-needed upgrade, and today, Love News Senior Correspondent Paul Mahung spoke with the residents of Punta Gorda to get their sentiments on the infrastructural improvement.  

The MIDH has scheduled Friday, June 13 for the official inauguration.
