Chairman of the organising committee of the Purewater/JC/R. Danny Williams Development Meet, Ian Forbes, was impressed with the performances of the athletes on the weekend.
Calabar’s Jamal Stephenson and Sabrina Dockery of Lacovia were among the standout performers.
Stephenson won the A final of the class-1 boys’ 100-metres in a personal best 10.43 seconds. Meanwhile, Dockery posted won the Girls’ A final with a meet record of 11.39 seconds.
Forbes says as expected, the meet was well executed.
