Clarke led the way in a Jamaican sweep of the podium places on the night as Assinie Wilson was a close second in 48.77, with Malik-James King third in 49.87.
Tyrece Hyman, the 19-year-old hurdler from Jamaica, was fourth in a personal best of 50.09.
