Rajindra Campbell Finishes 3rd in Men’s Shot Put at Diamond League Final

Paris Olympic bronze medalist, Rajindra Campbell finished third in the men’s Shot Put on the first day of the Wanda Diamond League final at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich Switzerland, on Wednesday.

Campbell produced 21.87 metres on his second throw, as the consistent American two time World Champion Joe Kovacs who claimed his fourth Diamond League title with 22.46 meters.

Olympic silver medallist Wayne Pinnock finished fourth in the men’s long jump with his best 8.15 metres on his first jump, while Carey McLeod is fifth with 8.07 after four jump.

Ten more Jamaicans will be in action on Thursday’s final day.
