Excitement is high for the tip-off of the Red Stripe flavours Elite Netball League at the National Indoor Sports Centre.
The season start with the opening ceremony and dress parade on Friday evening at 6.
This will be followed by last year’s beaten finalist St. Catherine Racers taking on St. Ann Orchids, before Kingston Humming Birds take on the Under-21 shiners.
A member of the organising committee, Karen Bauge, says some of the country’s best players will be on show.
Baugh says they have kept the entry cost reasonable so the entire family can come out.
She says there is a new element to the tournament this year.
