President of the Jamaica Olympic Association, Christopher Samuda, says the proposed redevelopment of their headquarters at 9 Cunningham Avenue will be his administration’s contribution to Jamaica’s sporting landscape.
The redevelopment is a multimillion-dollar, two-phase investment project.
Phase 1 of the project will include a wellness hub for athletes and JOA members, a physiotherapy facility, a sports apparel store, a commercial restaurant, state-of-the-art conference facilities, and a museum.
Samuda says the additions are expected to reshape how the sporting community engages with the association.
He says It is intended to spark wider strategic discussions around monetising physical assets.
