Referees Chairman has high hopes for Local Referees at Paris Olympic

Chairman of the referees and assessor committee, Patrick Malcolm, backs Jamaicans Daneon Parchment and Odette Hamilton to give a good showing at the Paris Olympics.

Parchment and Hamilton were selected by FIFA to officiate at the 2024 Summer Games.

The FIFA Referees Committee has appointed 89 match officials.

Parchment will work as a Video Match official, VAR, while Hamilton has been selected as support staff.

Malcolm says the pair is on equal par with the best officials around the world.
