Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz returned to the top of their Concacaf World Cup qualification group with the 4-0 drubbing of now-eliminated Bermuda tonight at the National Stadium.

The Jamaicans opened the floodgates in fortuitous fashion through an own goal off the head of Bermuda captain, Dante Leverock in the 24th minute, but then continued to steamroll the visitors.

Jamaica’s second came from the boot of Bobby Reid in 26th, before Shamar Nicholson took the into half-time with a three-goal lead, courtesy of his near-post tap-in in the 35th minute.

Sbstitute Dujuan Richards capped the night with a solo effort in the 76th minute.

The result leaves Jamaica at the top of Group B with nine points from their four games.

The Reggae Boyz are followed closely by Curacao on eight, and Trinidad and Tobago on five.

Curacao and Trinidad and Tobago earlier, played to a 1-1 draw.

Bermuda are still without a point and with two games to go, cannot get to the eight points needed for a World Cup playoff spot. Only the group winners earn an automatic spot at the 2026 World Cup.
