Reggae Girlz Beat Peru in 2nd International Friendly

Jamaica’s senior women’s football team beat hosts Peru 3-2 in the second game of their two match international friendly in Lima, on Wednesday.

Naya Cardoza scored her first international goal to give the Reggae Girlz the lead in the 6th minute.

14-minutes later Reanna Blades also with her first international goal double the lead for Jamaica.

Tiffany Cameron made it 3-nil in the 22nd minute.

This was her 8th goal in national colours.

The hosts reduced Jamaica’s lead to 2 in the 36th minute.

Peru further reduced the deficit to 1 in the 2nd Half, but the Jamaicans were able to hold on to the win.

The Reggae Girlz are on a four game winning run.

They will next be in action on April 5 and 8 against Mexico in two friendly internationals in Kansas City and Houston respectively.
