Jamaica’s senior women’s football team had their first training session at the Nautica Football Stadium as they prepare for the two match international friendly against Brazil in Brazil.
The first match is set for Recife on June 1, while the second will be played in Salvador on June 4.
The last time both teams met was in the group stage of the 2023 World Cup with the game ending in a 0-0 draw. This result enabled Jamaica to advance to the Round of 16, while ensuring Brazil’s exit from the tournament.
Reggae Girlz forward, Tiffany Cameron, says the Jamaicans are excited to renew their rivalry with the Brazilians.

The Jamaicans were welcomed and presented with a small replica of the Nautica stadium and a team jersey by club President Bruno Becker. Both gifts were received by team captain Allyson Swaby.
Former national representative Allan “Skill” Cole played at the club in the 1970s.
