Fast-rising roots reggae fusion artiste, Zodiakk has many reasons to smile of late considering the fact he has been getting the nod of approval from many key musical platforms and pundits. This is due to the positive reviews on his debut album entitled “Roots In The Underground.” The artiste was recently dubbed “One To Watch in Reggae for 2026” according to Onstage TV.
His most popular single entitled “Take It Easy” is currently doing very well on all major streaming platforms and has amassed over 790,000 streams on YouTube. According to YardHype, “Take It Easy” has announced his arrival onto the reggae scene.
Zodiakk indicates he spent years developing his sound.
“I started writing songs when I was 6 on my Dad’s old handheld tape recorder. I began producing and taking music more seriously around the age of 12. I went to the Atlanta Institute of Music out of high school and that’s when I started treating music like a 9-5 job everyday. Since then, I’ve been working on finding and developing my sound to what can be heard on my debut album, “Roots In The Undergound”, stated Zodiakk.
Born Zachary Jones, Zodiakk, had a strong support system that aided his musical development. Fast forward to 2026 and Zodiakk has recently released a highly rated album entitled “Roots In The Underground,” which has catapulted the roots reggae fusion artiste into the reggae conversation globally.
Tracks such as Take It Easy, War Cry and No Prisoners are stand-out tracks that have been described by Reggae purists as musical masterpieces.
Currently, Zodiakk is busy in the studio already working on his follow-up album, which will be a double album titled “Universal Love.” The artiste is also busy promoting his current album entitled “Roots In The Underground,” which is available on all major digital platforms.
