Renaldo Cephas Out for Up to 3 Months With Knee Injury

Jamaica’s national senior men’s football team is now having to deal with another long term injury to one of it’s strikers.

Renaldo Cephas could be out for close to three months after suffering a torn meniscus in his knee last week.

The 25-year-old Cephas who plays his club football with Turkish first division with Ankaragucu, underwent surgery at the start of the week and is expected to be out of action until March.

The former Arnett Gardens winger has been in good form for Ankaragucu this season, scoring six times in the league competition and twice in the Turkish Super Cup.

Cephas now joins West Ham United’s Michail Antonio West Ham forward Michail Antonio who’s now recovering following surgery on a lower limb which was fractured in a one car incident outside London on December 7.

The 34-year-old Antonio, is expected to face a lengthy spell of rehabilitation.
