Restaurant Associates Limited (RAL) has opened four new fast food restaurants in St Catherine — two Popeyes, a Burger King and a Little Caesars.
This latest expansion in Angels and Spanish Town further strengthens RAL’s position as a restaurant management company in the Caribbean, now boasting over 60 locations islandwide and 104 across the region.
According to RAL's Chief Executive Officer, Lisa Lake, the move reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to growth and development.
"Moreso it also demonstrates our commitment to excellence, to the community and business development in our country which we hold very dear," she said at Sunday's opening ceremony for the Burke Road and Angels locations.
Lake also highlighted the employment opportunities created, noting that the two locations have generated over 100 jobs, contributing to thousands across RAL’s operations.
"In the near future outside of these restaurants, we plan to open another six in this community, this not including plans we have for Old Harbour," she added.
Mayor of Spanish Town Norman Scott welcomed the investment, stating that it is a significant step for the community. He also reiterated his vision for reviving Chedwin Park as a prime sporting venue to drive economic benefits for the town and parish.
