Number three on our list is Playa PortoMari in Bandabou. This is one of those beaches that really has it all. A restaurant for dining, a bar, diving with a dedicated dive shop, bathroom and shower facilities, and beach chair rentals are all available here. The beach sits on a private estate known as Plantages, with water that is usually calm and clear. There is a double reef for anyone who wants to dive, and dives can be arranged through the on-site operator. From the beach, you can also access two nature trails that lead into the surrounding landscape. A beachside restaurant and bar brings it all together, and the beach itself is accessible for a small admission fee.
2. Grote Knip / Playa Kenepa Grandi

Playa Kenepa Grandi, also known as Grote Knip, is located near West Punt in Curaçao. This is a white sand beach with amazing views, popular with sunbathers, swimmers, and those who come to snorkel or dive. Near the village of Westpunt, you'll find Playa Gipy which is a small, wild and rocky beach. This isn't a very touristy beach, and for many visitors it can be difficult to find. In fact, sometimes the people who stumble upon this beach are those who drive to the lighthouse in this area, so in that sense getting to Playa Gipy can be quite the welcome surprise. To reach the beach, you'll need to park near the Watamula blowhole and make your way down on foot. As this beach sits close to the north coast, the sea here can often be rough and unpredictable, so swimming is only recommended on calm days and with caution.
Playa Santu Pretu
Santu Pretu translates to black sand, and that’s just what you’ll find on this Curaçao strand. This beach is relatively secluded, and you’ll be able to tell right away that it’s the kind of place where nature has been left well enough alone. The road leading to Santu Pretu is gated, so the only ways to reach it are on foot or by boat. Starting from the parking area at Santa Cruz, it’s roughly a 15-minute walk to get there.
